Pro Power Kit keeps failing every 6 months

Every 6 months I have to replace the Pro Power Kit for my Ring Video Doorbell Pro. My doorbell will stop working every 6 months and when i change the Pro Power Kit it starts to work again. Last year it stopped working on Jan 20th and Aug 20th and today (Jan 19th) it stopped working again. Anyone else have this issue or know what could be causing it to stop working?

Hi @kwemaw. What type of transformer do you have connected to your Ring Pro? What is the voltage rating? What type of chime kit is connected? Your Ring Pro should be able to operate for years and not fail every 6 months. Let me know the above information, and we can go from there.

Hi @Tom_Ring, Thank you for your assistance. The transformer I have is https://ring.com/collections/accessories/products/hardwired-transformer/?original_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2F The chime kit connected is mechanical. I have the NuTone BK125LWH model. As soon as I changed the Ring Pro Power Kit on Sunday, it started to work again. What do you think could be causing the Ring Pro Power Kit to stop working?

Hi @kwemaw. Thanks for that information. Great choice on the transformer. Your chime kit is also on the [list of compatible chime kits](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/209028546-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List), so no concern there. I suggest reaching out to our support team to run some diagnostic tests on this device. Our level 2 team will be able to take a closer look into this concern and determine what is causing this to happen. You can send a private message to us on Facebook @Ring or please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406).
