Poor video quality Ring 1st Genc
I have a 1st Gen hardwired Ring video doorbell and it has had very poor video quality for about 2 years now. I have removed it and done a hard reset, checked my wifi signal which appears fine, and did as much troubleshooting as I can to no avail. The doorbell does not get direct sunlight as it is underneath our porch awning. The video appears very fuzzy/blurry, and when zooming in looks even worse. It also is very much delayed in reporting motion alerts, usually requiring movement to be almost directly in front of the camera. Under device health settings it shows my signal strength as RSSI -51 (and is green), firmware is up to date, battery level 100%, and last health check was this afternoon. I've attached a screen shot of the video quality. Is it just because this is an older model and it's time for an upgrade?
