I have the Ring Pro 2. When I first installed it everything was working fine but now 3 to 6 months later we have no outside audio. I use to be able to hear the birds, the wind and vehicles on the street and now nothing. If some one hears the doorbell I can hear myself talking through the live view but can’t hear anything the person is saying. Video still works great but just seems the microphone isn’t working anymore. I took it down to check the connection and all seems fine. I would assume the doorbell and video wouldn’t work if the wiring was loose. Please help! Thanks

    Hi @MattC339. Good call on checking the wiring first! I would suggest resetting the Doorbell completely by holding down the setup button on it for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, walk through the setup process in the Ring App again and then test out the two way audio in the Live View to see if it works. Typically a reset will correct things like this, so let me know how that works for you! :)

      What if resetting doesn’t fix the audio issues? I have the exact same problem as the above user, so I’ve checked all my audio settings on the app which were fine, I then reset the doorbell, then I downloaded the latest version of the ring app, then I managed to download the latest firmwall onto the ring doorbell, but nothing is working. Is there anything else I can try? As it’s really frustrating. Is there anything else which will work, or do I need a new doorbell? It’s not really something I’d like to replace every year or so.

      I have the exact same issue! I have done everything and this is the 2nd one I bought with the same issues. Returned the first and i am about to return this one and go with a totally completely different brand. I had the older version at a different house and it worked way better than this one.
