  Hi there, @Hrtbr8kr. As mentioned in our Peephole Cam [installation article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028434612-Troubleshooting-Unusual-Peepholes-During-Peephole-Cam-Installation), the Peephole Cam will often go in place of the existing peephole or door knocker. Please consult the manufacturer of your peephole for instructions on how to remove it, and your community managers to ensure this is allowed. The Peephole Camera cannot be rotated and is designed to be mounted upright via the peephole. I hope this helps! :)

  Your answer, Marley, doesn’t help at all. Having to mount the peephole cam upside down is a very common requirement. It is the only way to fit the peephole cam between the apartment number and the door knocker. Ring needs to get its act together and provide an option to invert the image when the camera has to be installed upside down. You didn’t want to do this originally because the peephole cam was discontinued but, by popular demand it is back. Come on, Ring! Realize you need to update the Peephole Cam’s software or do a firmware update to invert the image when needed.
