Original Doorbell 2 Camera Issue

Has anyone seen their camera do this? Is this a malfunction or does it indicate that someone put something to cover the camera? I didn't get a motion alert that anyone did anything. It won't let me attach the picture at the moment. But basically it looked like all you could see was the actual camera itself.
