Only shows battery even though connected to AC power

I have my Doorbell 1 Video connected to existing doorbell power but the Power Source shows Battery. The terminals show 20 volts AC. What is missing?

Hi @rtcary. Is this also connected to a chime kit? What is the voltage rating for your transformer? Those few things can offer insight to the rest of the Community when helping determine what might be happening. Alternatively, you can try to reset your Doorbell to see if the correct power status will appear. You can reset the Doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing. After 1 minute, your Doorbell with reboot and you'll have to [reconnect](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Ring-Device-to-Wifi-or-Change-Your-Wifi-Network) it to wifi. Once reconnected it will do a quick update and it should be reflecting the correct power status, assuming your transformer has the correct voltage rating. I hope this helps!

I fixed it! So obscure! The connectors have to be connected a certain way. SeeRing Video Doorbell (original) stopped working: not charging, not ringing inside Fixedrtcary
