Old Ring 2 to Ring Pro conversion - Mech door bell won't work?

troubleshooting

I have had an old, circa 2016 Ring 2 doorbell. Everything was working fine with it and the doorbell worked. I went to upgrade to a Ring Pro 2. installed the Ring Pro 2, and the physical doorbell will no longer chime. Checked the Transformer and it was 16v 10a. Replaced it with the Ring 16v 30a transformer. Doorbell will still not ring. If you remove the "Pro Power Pack", the doorbell will ring, but then it buzzes and you can see the striker trying to move constantly. Put the old Ring 2 in place, doorbell works, no buzzing. Put the Pro power pack in line, and the doorbell wont' work again. What is the Pro Power Pack actually doing? is it a resistor? somekind of capicator? Suggestions on how to resolve this so the interior doorbell still works?

Hi @user_1fd3d1. Those where good troubleshooting steps to try for your concern. I suggest also trying to go through configuring your Doorbell for an in home chime to see if it helps. If you have tried this step and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance.
