Not recording deliveries at doorway

Question

It's been two or three weeks. I've had deliveries of groceries, packages, and fast food. The camera has failed to capture all the events, but always manages to record me retrieving the delivery and cars driving up and down the street at all times of the day and night. Never the delivery vehicle, delivery person or the items. The camera is set to Frequently, which obviously it does ...just not the events of someone pulling up to the curb in front of my house, walking up my driveway and standing in front of my door while dropping off packages, bags of groceries or dinner. I've bought a different brand of outdoor security cameras with the hope between the two any future deliveries will be captured.

There are several factors that affect the motion detection on your Ring Doorbell, including wifi signal strength, motion settings, and position and angle of your device. Check that your Ring Doorbell has a strong wifi signal, and ensure the Motion Zones you've set cover the common pathways that visitors to your door take. You may need to turn your motion sensitivity slider up as well. In addition to the Motion Zones and wifi signal, please check your Modes settings to ensure you do not have motion detection turned off. Lastly, consider the placement and angle of your Ring Doorbell. If your Doorbell is mounted too high or low, or is pointed towards a wall, this would negatively impact motion detection.
