Ring Video Doorbell
No notifications from Ring Doorbell 2 on Xiaomi 8
Hi, I just installed a Ring Doorbell 2 today, everything works perfect except the fact that I do not receive any notifications (written or sound). My phone is a Xiaomi Mi 8, MIUI version: MIUI 11.0.6, Android version 10, Android security patch level 2019-12-01, CPU: Snapdragon 845, Hardware version V1. In my Ring app, Ring Alerts, Record Motion and motion alerts are all ON. Also, I installed Hidden Settings for MIUI and all the Ring notifications are activated. What should I do, Thanks !

HI Chelsea, Thank you very much for the reply. The issue is solved now. When I saw your answer and the apps related to the battery saving (Battery Plus, Battery saver, etc)I realized that the issue may be related to the "App battery saver" where I selected "No restrictions for the Ring app". This is a typical Xiaomi setting I assume, I hope this will help others as well. Thanks Chelsea one more time !

Hey @Sorin. We do have a [list of apps](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005889983-Android-Apps-that-Conflict-with-the-Ring-App) that conflict with the Ring app, as well as a [troubleshooting guide](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/211676423-How-to-Troubleshoot-Ring-Notification-Issues-for-Android-Devices) when the notifications do not come through on Android. Please check these out and let me know what you were able to do to reach a resolution, or if it still fails, let me know what you did in addition!
