No drill mount video doorbell 2

I just received the no drill mount for my ring. I ordered it because I’m renting and can’t drill into the home. I made sure my device was compatible but the plate doesn’t fit. Do we have to take off the back plate?

Hi @melissaab. The photo you shared is of a Ring Video Doorbell 2. The No Drill Mounts are only available for our Ring Video Doorbell 3/3+ and our Ring Video Doorbell 2nd Generation. With that in mind, there is not a compatible No Drill Mount for the Ring Doorbell 2 that you have.
