New Ring 3 - Snapshot Off - Appears to take a picture every 15 minutes

Even though Snapshot is off, I get a new picture in what appears to be 15 minute intervals. What setting have I missed to turn this feature off (to save battery though I'm not below 90% yet to see how well hardwired works). No motion alarm is set off however motion works when appropriate.Thank you...Todd
