I used to never have issues with my Ring doorbell and now I’m starting to miss multiple videos a day. It may show just a flash and skip a whole minute or more at a time. It is not my wireless connection. This is beginning to be a safety concern. Also is there no email support?

Hi @Ringuser995. Ring Doorbells don't record continuously, so they will record when motion is detected or when someone presses the button. Make sure you don't have motion detection disabled in the [Modes settings](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036107792-Control-All-of-Your-Ring-Devices-with-Modes). If your Doorbell isn't detecting motion or you're experiencing video quality issues, it could be related to the wifi signal strength. You can check the [signal strength](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Checking-Wifi-Signal-Strength) on the Device Health page in the Ring app. I would also recommend checking your [Motion Zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210243483-Utilizing-Motion-Zones-with-your-Ring-Devices) to ensure they cover the areas you want to be capture motion in. If you have checked all of the above, and your Doorbell is still not properly detecting motion, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) for additional assistance. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
