When I moved, I took my ring doorbell which was wired. My new place does not have a doorbell. Is there a way I can hook it up without an existing electrical connection? I am happy to buy a ring wireless chime, but don't want to purchase the whole thing over again.

Lifehackster posted this video for this. I do not have one, but it looks interesting. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r5KcdEfkoBY

@frrring. You can use a [Ring Plug-In Adapter (2nd Generation)](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-plugin-adapter-gen-2) to power up your Doorbell since you do not have existing wiring for it now.

While I think the previous video I posted will work as well, this is actually the one I was thinking about, as the wires stay inside the house. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=erZGmeUARWs
