Ring Video Doorbell
Is it posible to connect Doorbell Pro to a classic push button?
Hi there all. I think I have some edge case not observed untill now. I have an existing wall doorbell, I think it's mechanical not digital. The think is that, in front of the push button there's a column so it's no really way to put there the Video Doorbell to actually "see anything than the wall". So, my idea is, to bridge it somehow to the Video Doorbell and make them both ring the same doorbell. I think it should be posible, but I don't really have the idea of how to proprer wire this. I understand, that it should be something like this: But replacing one of the Video Doorbells by the Push Button. Knowing this... Should I use the Ring Pro Power kit? If so, where? Many thanks.

Hi @JustDevZero. I can't provide any detailed wiring assistance, but I can clarify some important information before you install your Doorbell. The Pro Power Kit is required to be installed with the Video Doorbell Pro in order to make sure it is properly powered. First, verify that your chime kit is compatible with the Doorbell Pro by checking the list [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/209028546-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List). You can also find installation steps for the Pro Power Kit in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005974286-How-to-Install-Pro-Power-Kit-V2-for-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro). All of that needs to check out in order for the Video Doorbell Pro to function. If you need to angle your Pro to get a better view of your walkway and porch area, you can use a [Corner Kit](https://ring.com/collections/accessories/products/corner-kit-for-video-doorbell-pro) to adjust the angle by up to 45°. I hope this information helps answer your questions and gives you a better idea of how to get your Doorbell Pro up and running! If you still have questions, you can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406).
