Installing two Ring Wired Doorbell Plus with two existing doorbells and two chime devices
hardwired-video-doorbell

Hello, our home has two existing doorbells and two chime devices (plus the 16 V transformer attached to the circuit breaker box). Each of the two chime devices has *three* wires - Front (green), Transformer (white) and Rear (red). If I purchase two Wired Doorbell Plus units, will I need to add the Pro Power Kit to *both* chime devices? If so, would one attach to the Front + Transformer and other to the Rear + Transformer? Thank you very much.

Hi @user40574. Yes, the Pro Power Kit is required for the installation of the Wired Doorbell Plus. With two Doorbells, you will need to use both Pro Power Kits. Assuming you are installing one Doorbell on each door (front and rear), you would have one Pro Power Kit attached to the terminals for the front door, and one to the terminals for the rear door.We have various wiring diagrams for the Wired Doorbell Plus here. There is one diagram demonstrating how to install two Wired Doorbell Pluses with two internal chimes and one transformer, which will likely be helpful for your setup.
