Hello I have a Deta hard wired doorbell with built in transformer, in in a new build house, could anyone advise if the ring door bell can be wired to this as the app instructions tell me to contact am electrician. Thanks for the help.

This jumper cable will disable your existing chime kit in order to deliver power to your Ring device.
