My 2nd gen ring doorbell suddenly stopped working. I have spoken to customer support and there is nothing they can do - it appears to have been fully charged when it went offline, but I can’t get it to go into setup mode or connect. It’s 3 years old so it’s out of warranty. The very polite customer service lady can do nothing other than offer me a 30% discount code, which takes it to the same price as Amazon. Not what I expect when spending £60 on a device, plus the accessories I bought to go with it. Very upset and crossPreformatted text

Hi @user79286. Typically with an unresponsive device, we advise to fully charge the battery, then reset the device by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, try walking through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. Contacting our support team was a good step to take, as they should have run you through all the applicable troubleshooting steps. If your Doorbell is still unresponsive after trying all the steps, that’s when our support team would offer the out of warranty discount code you received.
