How to bypass the internal chime

Hi all, I tried to bypass my internal chime to avoid buzzing noise after installing my Ring Doorbell Pro. As the attached image shown, I inserted 1 (red) and 2 (black) into the bypass mode holds on Pro Power Kit. But after I switch on the power, it seems my Ring doorbell lost its power (before I do this, my doorbell was working fine). So my questions are: 1) Should I insert 1 and 2 in the bypass mode holdes? 2) Any idea what the purpose of wire 3 (red) in the attached image is?
