How often do you charge your doorbell's battery?

I own a 3 - 4 year old Ring Doorbell I. It seems to be working well but I now need to charge the battery about 1X monthly (instead of every few months) since I added video recording of motion outside my front door. Is this normal or is my battery preparing to say goodbye?

@ChicagoKindaGuy The more you ask it to do/record the faster it will run out. Also all batteries have lifespan where they will require more frequent charging. After 4 years its not going to perform anywhere near the way it would when new.
