How long should it take for a Ring 4 battery to charge please? Its now been 18 hours, and still showing both red and green lights. When inserting into the doorbell, it keeps saying 41% charge. (ring 4 is a replacement for a ring 2 doorbell which also wouldnt charge fully on the first charge and was returned. Ive tried different wires, plugs etc)

Hi @SarahPob. A battery usually takes about 6–8 hours to fully charge. If your battery percentage is not changing, it could mean your Doorbell is offline or not communicating correctly. Try the following steps for this concern: 1. Factory reset your Doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button for 20-25 seconds. 2. [Reconnect your Doorbell to your wifi](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-to-Wifi-or-Change-Your-Wifi-Network). 3. After about 15-20 minutes of it being online check your battery percentage again to see what it reports. If you try these steps and still have the same concern, give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) for further assistance. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
