Help please with Ring Doorbell 2 ( Battery operated ) - Offline

Hi everybody,My doorbell 2 has decided to go offline .I have tried the below steps to troubleshoot the device but haven't had any luck, your help would be much appreciated to get it back online .Removed/reinserted a fully charged battery On the front of the DoorBell - Pressed the setup button for a few seconds ( while the blue light kept flashing ), using the Ring app, i tried to reconnect the device to my WiFi router with no joy .( note : online triublebooting guide says when you press the setup button, you should see white circular light ) which i failed to see on my RingDoor bell, does this mean its time to replace my door bell and buy a new one ?
