Ring Video Doorbell
Having problems charging ring video doorbell
Hi I have the ring video doorbell that has the built in battery. I plugged usb cable in and it won’t charge. It also won’t reset because I thought the ring was charging but it went completely dead. Not sure what to do. Please help

Hi @Jwilkins1121. @GibbyG made a great suggestion of trying to use a different micro USB cable to see if that helps. I had a similar problem with my Ring doorbell 2 Gen. I thought it was the orange charging cable that might have shortened out. I ordered a new charging cable and it was able to charge the battery, However the problem I'm facing currently is that my dooorbell will only stay charged for a day before dying and taking a FULL DAY to charge. Try ordering a new charging cable and if that doesn't help it may be a defective battery
