Hardwired but not charging
My ring doorbell 2 is hardwired and never had charging issues. Today it’s alerting me that the battery needs to charged. It’s at 14%. It’s been very cold -1 to 5F. Could that be the issue? It’s never happened in other winters. The wires are fine and I can see it knows it is hardwired. All electric circuits are working in the house and outdoor lights. How do I fix this?

This could be because your transformer is not providing enough voltage. You may want to look into getting a 24v transformer designed for the Ring Video Doorbell. Hope this helps!
