I ordered a second battery for my ring doorbells and cameras from Amazon. It came and said it was for second generation units, and always showed as low, even after charging in my unit. Software said I need to replace battery as it is low, it was fully charged. But articles I've read said the batteries are all the same. Anyone else have this problem?

Ring's [Quick Release Battery Pack](https://ring.com/products/quick-release-battery-pack) is compatible with all Ring Doorbells and Cameras that use a removable battery, regardless of generation. If your Doorbell is not working correctly with your new battery, try the following steps: * Verify you are charging the battery until only the green LED light is on. * [Reboot your Doorbell using the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-How-to-Reboot-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-from-the-Ring-App-). * Factory reset your Doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button for 20–25 seconds, and then reconnect it to your wifi since the reset will make it fall offline.
