False Ring
hardwired-battery-video-doorbell
My doorbell keeps going off when it has not been pressed and without actually ringing in the app. The house doorbell rings once and there is nothing in the app and no one is there. This usually happens once or twice a day. Just barely happened for the second time tonight. The charge is 100% and it's not cold. This has only been happening for a few months now. Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know how to stop it?

Hi @chorses1990. There could be a number of things that could cause this. First, I would disconnect power and inspect the connections on the back of your Doorbell and at your chime kit. If those connections appear to be tight and secure, reconnect power to your doorbell and see if these false rings persist. If this is something that is still happening, try to note the date and time this occurs and reach out to our support team so they can investigate this for you. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times.
