Entire event not recording?

Question

I’ve had several missed events and when I look at my motion I see parts are missing. For example twice this week I’ve gotten a package delivered and it doesn’t show me anybody dropping it off but when I search my motion events, I see it registers the mail truck stopping in front of my house and cuts off before they get the package out and drop it at my door. Any suggestions?

I'd recommend verifying what your [Video Recording Length](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001858043-Adjusting-Video-Recording-Lengths-for-Your-Video-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera) is set at. You may also try adjusting your [Motion Zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210243483-Utilizing-Motion-Zones-with-your-Ring-Devices) to help the focus be closer to your home, rather than vehicles on the street.
