Echo Show doesn't switch to Live view when playing music

When my Ring doorbell is activated, I get notifications on my Amazon Echo Show if it isn't doing anything else. If I am playing the Radio (e.g. the BBC Skill, or Radio Player) it will not make a noise or show the video. How do I get it to switch to Live View as soon as it detects motion or someone presses the button on the doorbell? Thanks in advance.

fwiw, I do get notifications on my Echo Show but like you it doesn't switch to Live view, which isn't what I hoped for
