Doorbell rings when nobody there

Hi there, my Ring doorbell 3 keeps ringing although nobody has pushed the button. Happens at least twice in the night but more persistently during the day, as much as 4-5 times in an hour... has been installed less than a week. These are not motion detection notifications, but the actual doorbell activating??!?!!

This is odd to hear of, @Deano7104! Please ensure the button on your Video Doorbell is not stuck, is clear of debris, and clear of any obstructions that might activate it. If your Video Doorbell is wired to a chime kit, try disconnecting the wires on the back of the Video Doorbell to see if that resolves the random ringing. Checking your event history for a ring event and video is a great way to confirm if this is being caused by a physical event. If this concern persists despite trying the above, perform a reset on your Video Doorbell by holding the setup button for 20 seconds. Once this step is complete, please reconnect your Ring device by following the steps in this [help center article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-How-to-Reconnect-Your-Ring-Device-to-Wifi-or-Change-Your-Wifi-Network). I hope this helps! :)
