Ring Video Doorbell
Doorbell not working after thunderstorm
By ring doorbell 2 lost wifi after a thunderstorm this morning. I have spent 3 hours going through each and every option Ring lists online to restore connectivity, including a hard reset. I'm beginning to believe there may be a mechanical problem with the doorbell itself.

Hi @Hoyaburrow . Since your reconnection issues seem to be isolated to this one Ring Doorbell 2, it might be best to contact our support team to have them go over some additional troubleshooting to get it back online. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://slack-redir.net/link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.ring.com%2Fhc%2Fen-us%2Farticles%2F213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://slack-redir.net/link?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.ring.com%2Fhc%2Fen-gb%2Farticles%2F360041597471) to see how to contact support. I have the same problem my wired video ring doorbell stop working for the second time this week after the storm. It will not allow me to do anything. I removed it from the connection and it still remained solid blue. I really like the doorbell but I'm tempted to go with another brand.

As a follow up, i have another doorbell and two security cam/light combos. All of them have been reconnected today with no problem.
