Doorbell dies when plugged in to solar mount
Hi- Just got one of the solar mounts for my video doorbell (version 1). When I plug it in, with the doorbell fully charged, it completely stops working (the doorbell). No lights, nothing. The app says it’s online, but can’t communicate with it, and it doesn’t ring. If I unplug it from the solar mount, it works again. I’ve experimented with resetting it up from scratch, and everything else I can think of. Is this a known issue? Any solutions? Thanks.

It seems to work fine when plugged in to the micro usb cable. I haven't exchanged the solar plate yet, but I guess that is the next step. j.

Have you tried exchanging the mount? Does this also happen when you plug it in to the orange micro usb cable ?
