Ring Video Doorbell
Doorbell 1 mounting height - 48" from top or bottom?
Instructions say to mount Ring doorbell 1 48" from the ground. Is tht 48" to the top of the doorbell, the bottom, or to the camera? Thank you!

If you are mounting it in a location where there are steps, consider using a Wedge Kit. I hope this helps!

I just came on here to ask the same question as I'm about to drill the wall for the cable. My door is 2 steps up from ground level so I was planning on mounting it 48" from the ground level rather than from the bottom of the door but like the original question it makes a difference where I drill the hole if it's 48" the bottom or 48" to the top of the unit!
