Door bell chime goes off during the night

troubleshooting

Our doorbell system is hard wired. At least once or twice a week, during the middle of the night, the doorbell rings and we are alerted by the ap. We review the video and there is no activity of any kind. I understand that the doorbell actually needs to be pushed. We have since deactivated the voice command, but it too was replying, we can't come to the door right now. There are bugs flying around, but they don't or cannot push the button Again, always during the night and never during the daytime house. Any suggestions help on this topic.

Hi @user18959. What specific model doorbell is this? When this happens, how does it appear on your History? Is it a Motion Event, Missed Ring or Answered Ring? To mitigate this, you can always setup a [Motion Schedule](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/218380863-Scheduling-Times-When-You-Don-t-Want-to-Receive-Motion-Alerts-).

I am not sure what model this is, received it for Christmas last year. We will not want to set up a motion schedule, that seems that this would take away from the reason for the system. The notification is missed ring. The system is hardwired and the doorbell actually rings. There is no motion on the video. Doesn't the door bell actually have to be pushed for this to ring? Why would motion set this off? In the past week, its gone off twice, 2:13 AM and three days later 1:05 AM. This does not happen during the day.
