Hi @user68794. No, the Ring Alarm Range Extender extends the Z-Wave signal used by the Ring Alarm system. It is not a wifi extender. If you're looking for a Ring wifi extender, the [Chime Pro](https://ring.com/products/chime-pro-gen2) acts as a wifi extender for Ring Doorbells and Cameras and can play audible alerts from from your Doorbell. :)
