Hi there neighbors! Normally when the live view takes awhile to load, it could be because of a slow connection your phone is having to the app, or the connection of your device to the router at home. You may want to reboot your router at home, or even make sure you are not connected to another WiFi on your phone when away from home. If you continue to have slow load times, please give our support a call at 1-800-656-1918!

It typically takes 5 minutes between the signal of an approach to the door and the processed video on my phone. To me that is totally unacceptable. If I want to take action they person is LONG gone before I ever get to see the video. I have good internet here so I am assuming the delay is on the RING end. Forget ever talking to them without knowing who is there. Is this the same for everyone else?

CI am still in my 'one year free' period, wonder if paid subscriptions get priority? I am not sure I will be willing to pay if 5 minutes is the expected delay.

Why am I getting delays of 20-30 seconds in receiving alerts? Additionally I spoke to your UK support office and was told the reason I was having to reset my audible alarms every day was because I had an Hawawai phone. I now have a Samsung and guess what? I still have the same problems. I procurred this system to reduce risk. resetting and the delays is causing unacceptable risks. Apologies for posting on this forum only on the chat service advised to support.com which in turn sent me to the community.

MSorry to hear about this experience @PaulB1! Notifications or event connection delays are often related to network, application, or mobile device variables. Excellent job checking on another mobile device. As both phones used here utilize an Android OS, please ensure there are no [apps installed that might conflict with the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005889983-Android-Apps-that-Conflict-with-the-Ring-App). I recommend also disabling bluetooth and VPN as a test. Trying on wifi only, or cell data only, is another good way to test connection types. While the notifications are delayed, they are being delivered which is a great sign that the Doorbell and App are operating as intended. The best next variable to check here is going to be network and wifi signal strength. Check out our [Community post about RSSI](https://community.ring.com/t5/Ring-Device-Tips-and-How-To-s/How-it-Works-Your-Ring-Device-RSSI-Good-vs-Poor/ba-p/751) for tips on optimizing this signal strength. I hope this helps! :)

PSo I have checked all the apps that may conflict with Ring, and I do not have any listed installed. The delays continue and I am still regularly not receiving audible notifications. The paper boy arrived this morning at 06.25hrs. No audible notification. I have changed my cellphone from Hawawai to Samsung, checked my fibre optic broadband and network speed is more than efficient and still I am getting delays. I am paying a maintenance fee monthly for these security items that are clearly failing. Please resolve failing which I may be forced to cancel.
