Delayed second ring?

Question

After pressing the doorbell there is a delay of up to 30 seconds before it can be rung again.  Why is this?  Is it adjustable?  Thanks

Hi there, @don1954! In most cases, when an event is triggered and being recorded, this event is prioritized by your Ring app and Ring device. While the Doorbell is notifying, recording, being answered, communicating with your home network, and dedicating it's processing for an optimal event experience, a motion detection or ring action will likely not result in notification during this time. The time between events should be short, in which an efficient wifi signal will ensure that your device is ready at it's quickest after an event. Answering an event is the best way to get more out of each event. Even if you miss the initial notification, you can trigger a Live View from the Ring app and view live video for up to 10 minutes at a time. I hope this helps! :)
