Date format default - when did Ring change it?

When I first bought my Ring Doorbell 4 the date timestamps shown on the videos were automatically displayed in genealogical format: DD/MM/YEAR. Now it automatically displays regular: MM/DD/YEAR. I need to verify dates of some videos. Does anyone know the exact date Ring changed the format because they didn't give any alerts at the time this change happened (I think in 2021 sometime)?
