Applies to Ring Doorbell 3. This ring is hardwired for already 2 years on my doorbell transformer. Since latest app update on iphone recent January 30 2023 the connection status is not showing right. The icon in the right corner says charging with a lightning symbol in it. And indead my battery starts charging when level drops below 90%. And the button light on the ring is lighting white. But under Device Healt power source says battery instead of hardwired. Before update it showed hardwired. I trued a reset and several reboots but that does not make a difference. Current temperature in my area is lowest 4 degree celsius.

    And an update on this issue. Today February 2 another app update. And the situation became worse. Icon saying ring is connected to solar panel which i dont have and connection type still battery However in my wife her android phone even since the last update today also. Showing the right info: icon with lightning symbol and connection type hardwired

      Hi @ItsMe1960. It sounds like your Doorbell 3 is worked as expected, so this is likely just a visual issue. Make sure you have the latest version of the Ring app and your phone's software, and try a quick reboot of your Doorbell in the Ring app. You can find the reboot option at the bottom of the Device Health screen, and the reboot should only take a few moments.
