I purchased a Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and didn't know I have a digital and incompatible doorbell. Can I wire the Power Kit directly to the transformer?

Hi @5893. Yes, you can bypass your house chime by connecting your Video Doorbell Pro 2 directly to the transformer or by using a [Plug-In Adaptor](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-plugin-adapter-gen-2). To bypass your chime, you will need to twist the two wires together that are connected to the house chime terminals (front or back door and trans) in order to complete the circuit to your transformer. This essentially cuts the chime out of the circuit and ensures the Doorbell Pro 2 receives power. With this installation, you do not need to install the Pro Power Kit v3. I hope this helps! :)
