Can I use my original Ring Doorbell wiring for a new Pro?

Hi, I have an original Ring Doorbell. I have no chime, but I supply power with a transformer and a wirewound resistor. Will the same transformer and wirewound resistor work with a video doorbell pro? I just got one and would like to pop it on there, but want to make sure I have enough power (or not too much).
