Hey @Mark\_K. You can definitely give it a try, but I recommend using the mounting bracket in this situation still. This is so that the glue goes on the mounting bracket and not the Doorbell itself, as you do not want to cause any damage to the Doorbell. I have not seen anyone set it up this way, but have seen people use velcro 3M Command Strips to keep the Doorbell up as well. I think there were two long strips used in that case. If you're able to figure out your own DIY solution, feel free to comment here what you do! :)
