Cameras Offline
My issue is that our Ring doorbell and hardwired in; and It seems that whenever the temperature drops, the cameras go offline, which is disruptive to the service we rely on. I understand that the current solution is to charge the hardwired Ring camera to bring it back online, but this is not a sustainable or reliable option. As we are paying a monthly service fee, we expect a level of service that includes consistent functionality, regardless of weather conditions. There should a system upgrade or adjustment that prevents the cameras from disconnecting due to temperature fluctuations.

Hi @user_cfead6. Which model of Ring Doorbell do you have? You can find the device name on the Device Health page in the Ring app. It sounds like you have a battery powered model and have connected it to an existing doorbell circuit, which provides a trickle charge. However, the Doorbell is still powered off the battery, which can be negatively impacted by the cold temperatures during winter.
