Why do I now need to turn off bluetooth to get ring sounds from my 2nd Gen doorbell. It worked fine until the last software update. We need Bluetooth enabled for medical equipment alerts so turning it off is not an option. Just about to spend a lot of money on a full Ring monitored alarm system but not under these circumstances. Sort it out Ring your technology is better than you are currently achieving.

Hi @user_17f1da. You shouldn't need to turn Bluetooth off to receive Ring app notifications on your phone. Is your phone connected via Bluetooth to a device that plays audio? If so, that would be why it's impacting audible notifications from the Ring app. Do you have an Alexa enabled device? You could set that up to play audible alerts when someone Rings your Doorbell. This shouldn't impact the alerts played from your medical equipment.
