The circle around your Video Doorbell button is intended to flash when charging. You will notice that each quadrant of the circle will light with the level of battery charged. We recommend charging your battery for several hours to ensure it is fully charged, in which your new battery level will reflect in the device health section of your Ring app. :)

Mine does this too. It’s the entire ring not just segments when it’s charging. Device never fully charges even on solar or hardwired. It’s a dead brick. Thankful for my other camera.

Hi @Jen75nj. Can you please share which model of Ring Doorbell you have? You can find the model name of your Doorbell on the original packaging or on the Device Health page in the Ring app. Have you tried charging the battery using the provided charging cable included in the original packaging? I'd be happy to try and help once I have more information on your concern. :)

Mine is doing the same thing! I’ve only had my camera for a few months and it didn’t do that when I first charged it. I called ring support and she said it was normal but I honestly don’t think she understood what I was saying. I tried to upload a video but it wouldn’t upload.

Hi @user74694. After a few hours, did your Doorbell charge? or did it not charge?
