I have a ring video doorbell 3 plus, which is battery powered. I’m finding that the battery is draining too fast. Is it possible to convert it to mains powered?

Hi @paul_round. Yes, you can use your [pre-existing doorbell wires to hardwire](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038902531-How-to-Physically-Install-Your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-3-with-an-Existing-Doorbell) your Video Doorbell 3 to trickle charge the battery. If you do not have pre-existing wires, you can connect the Video Doorbell [directly to a low-voltage transformer](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042031971-How-to-Connect-Your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-3-Directly-to-a-Low-Voltage-Transformer-Without-a-Pre-existing-Doorbell-). If you are not comfortable working with hardwiring your device, we strongly recommend consulting a licensed electrician for further assistance. I hope this helps! 🙂
