Attaching my doorbell to glass

I wanted to know if i attatch my doorbell to the window will it cause problems with the theft policy. This is the only place i can mount it as i have a porch mainly with glass at the required height.

Good question, @Junendave! As long as you do not physically alter the device hardware or design, it will not void warranty or theft coverage. Keep in mind, the mounting requirements for our Doorbells are 48 inches off the ground. Although I previously suggested the option of our No Drill mounting brackets, it actually looks like these brackets are not for use with glass. Mounting on glass may be difficult to obtain as some adhesive solutions can risk damaging the glass. A diy glass friendly adhesive and a normal mounting bracket could work. I hope this helps! :)
