5g home internet

Question

Hello, I recently changed from NBN (fibre optics) to 5g home internet. Everything in my house has adapted to the new inter net except my Ring. It picks up the single and can find the wifi but when i try to connect it it won’t work. Does the Ring 2 not work with 5g internet? If so will ring 4 work with it?

Hi @APH189. Not every model of Ring Doorbell is compatible with a 5GHz wifi network. Neither the Video Doorbell 2 nor the Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) can connect to a 5GHz network. In this case, you'll need to separate the bands or create a guest network utilizing only the 2.4GHz network to connect your Doorbell to.
