2 Questions about Ring Plug In Adapter for Video Doorbells

I own a Ring Doorbell 2 and I want to purchase the official Ring Plug In Adapter but have 2 questions. 1. The product page says its for Pro model only but the guide/manual that comes with the product says it works with Ring Doorbell 2, so which is correct? If this does indeed work with Doorbell 2 why does the product page and Amazon listing just say Pro model only and does not mention the other models?
