Why do images blur or disappear

Just saw this on Neighbors:https://neighbors.ring.com/n/nlV3Qxj3wO My husband posted this from our ring camera but I was really disappointed to see that the person trying to break into our car vanished before our on the ring camera. When someone pulls into our driveway at night with headlights on the camera becomes blurry and pixelated and we can't discern anything from the camera. How can we fix this?
