Hi @andrew.c.robinson. The battery life is going to be dependant on the number of events, the [Video Recording Length](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040293791-Adjust-the-Video-Recording-Length-on-Your-Battery-Powered-Devices), and the [cold weather](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042686872-Cold-Weather-and-Battery-Powered-Ring-Cameras). Both motions and Live Views are counted as events as wel, which is important to keep in mindl. You may want to reach out to our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They can run more diagnostics and take a closer look at your device if needed. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support.

I have 4 stick up cams with one spare battery so each time a battery needs replacing, a charged one is inserted and the removed one is re-charged. But the life in some of the cams can be 3 months and others only 3 weeks. All cameras have the same settings to achieve best battery life. And oddly, the most battery life is achieved by the cam which has the most events! Any bright ideas?
