  I have 4 stick up cams with one spare battery so each time a battery needs replacing, a charged one is inserted and the removed one is re-charged. But the life in some of the cams can be 3 months and others only 3 weeks. All cameras have the same settings to achieve best battery life. And oddly, the most battery life is achieved by the cam which has the most events! Any bright ideas?

The battery life is going to be dependant on the number of events, the [Video Recording Length](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040293791-Adjust-the-Video-Recording-Length-on-Your-Battery-Powered-Devices), and the [cold weather](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042686872-Cold-Weather-and-Battery-Powered-Ring-Cameras). Both motions and Live Views are counted as events as wel, which is important to keep in mindl.
