Wall Mount for Solar Panels and Cams

The area where I would like to mount the cam is recessed, and I'm not sure that the mount for the solar panel would clear the overhang. The area where I would like to install a camera and solar panel is 8 inches high, with a 10-inch overhang. It might not be enough room for the solar panel if mounted vertically.

Hi @davidp. Yes, you can mount the Solar Panel horizontally. It's important to note that this will limit how the Solar Panel rotates on its mount. As long as you can position it to capture 4 hours of sunlight, it should be fine. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
